Had a great afternoon tasting LaMotte wines. They are ambidextrous, both reds and whites are dangerously drinkable. The service and information on both the grape varietals and the history of the Wine farm was top shelf.

A great stop for wine tasting. Wines are good but 2015 is not a great year all around. Staff were welcoming and we could visit the cellars. All in all a lovely outing.
We had a lovely art show of Pierneef at lo Motte wine estate. Pierneef with his trade mark throntree paintings have a permanent show in the museum at La Motte. Absolute stunning art!
Delighted that you enjoyed your visit! Thank you for sharing.

I had the aubergine dish and it was absolutely delicious, good combination of flavors and lovely fresh produce! Great for my vegetarian needs paired with a glass of crisp La Motte Sauvignon Blanc. Great scenery too! Will definitely return!
This is a premier wine estate, historic with an excellent restaurant, excellent wines and a museum dedicated to the landscape painter Pierneef. Why can't they get everything right? My daughter and I bought three cartons of their excellent wine on the understanding it would be...More
