We enjoyed the ride with the tram. The red line stopped at beautiful vineyards! The tour guide was really friendly, funny and informative. Best stations of the trip were Mont Rochelle and Dieu Donne!

It did provide transportation to a bunch of vineyards but you either stayed a mere 35 minutes or an hour then into the next one.

A recommended day out in the Franschhoek area. Being on the tram brought back memories of the Glasgow, Scotland trams when I was a 'wee' boy! The tram host/conductor Robson, on my trip, deserves special thanks for his friendly and informative style. The arrangement with...More

Hi Emily You can purchase the pairings as you arrive. I would recommend have a later breakfast and on the tour you can do the cheese and meat platters with your wine tastings
