Loved our week in the Addo area, with many close elephant encounters. Missed the lions, but did see buffalo and even a turtle and a puff adder on the night drive!

Be prepared to drive around for some time before elephants are spotted. There is a map of the park by the restaurant where the elephants and lions are marked - where sightings have been reported that day. Use that as a guide and look out...More

If you want to be sure to elephants, this is the place to be. We saw many herds with babies, mud bathing elephants, playing elephants and then more elephants. Many other animals too, we were lucky and saw lions twice and well as several buffalo.

Loads of Warthogs, but they are oh so cute. Elephants were amazing. Foreign tourists please adhere to the speed limit that way you also get to see more.the restaurant was good value for money. The Interpretive centre could do with some updating.

Went for a morning game drive with our ranger Carl, who was very knowledgable and entertaining. We saw so many elephants taking baths in the various water holes spread across the park. Also plenty of buffalos as well as smaller game and the omnipresent dung...More

Can I request 2 particular Safari Tents in Main camp or do you have to take what you get? Being family, we would like 2 tents next to each other.
