Safari was fun, but the weather was cold and drizzly. We still managed to see quite a bit of wildlife. Nicely stocked gift shop. Restaurant on premises. There are other areas in the national park that you can self drive that have trails where you...More

We stayed in the rest camp for two nights. Even the best accommodation is a bit basic, but your not there for that. The game viewing is great. Lots and lots of animals to be seen. We had a ranger tour (sundowner tour) which was...More

You go there to see the game and the elephants and we did see most of the animals on their list. A bonus was the friendly people at the reception and the gates and then the interesting museum and displays. We went there with our...More

We visited Addo with a company booked through our hotel (began with a B - I’m sorry I can’t remember). They provided some crisps, biscuits and water which I thought was nice. It was a day of rain so we were limited in the animals...More

Had two fulfilling visits. On the first afternoon we only saw buffalo, but on the second day we saw no less that 12 large herds of elephant. A baby elephabt was 'lifted' out of a waterhole intended for drinking only.

The park itself is very lovely. There are lots of animals to see although the variety seems a bit less than at some of the other parks I’ve been. There are many spots where the density of the bush make it difficult to see but...More

We booked a tour with Addo and opted to be picked up at our hotel as we chose not to rent a car and when we called to confirm the pickup we learned that Ilios Tours was handling that aspect. When we met that guy...More
