Spending every summer of my life so far in Wildwood I always loved the architecture of the Island and was so happy when they opened the museum. It's a special place to remember the ambiance of a time that has long been gone but thanks to people like us who want to keep others aware and also for designed new... More

The museum is set in an old diner atmosphere and is located across from the boardwalk, near the convention center. It is run by donations and admission is free. It is filled with many items from the 50's and brings back fond memories from that era. The staff is friendly and helpful and exhibits are fun. There is a small... More

I read alot about the Doo Wop Preservation but I was ery disappointed by the lack of retro items they had. I was expected to be wowed, but not. The things they did have were nice but could use more donations. They offered a tour of the old time motels in the area which was nice, but you have to... More

This museum is clearly a result of dedicated, loving people. It is small, but packed with treasures. Take you time to read the various posters and plaques. The neon light collection is impressive and a tribute to days long gone. Perhaps the best part of the museum is the evening bus tour of Wildwood. The bus winds through the Wildwoods,... More

Lots of fun for us old timers to show our grandkids how it "used to be"! All the appliances and things from the 50's. And good ice cream too!

Great reviews, but we stopped there several times and it was CLOSED. No information as to when it would be opened. A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!

Free, close to everything. Pretty much one large room with a lot of history and really cool antiques to see. Did I mention it's also free. Go there you'll be glad you did!
