My mom and Grandmother used to take us weekly to Cadwalader Park a couple times per month when we were kids. They use to have a deer feeding area through the fence, as well as a bear and monkey pit. After visiting we would take a ride down Parkway avenue and look at the massive houses that we were told... More

In 1964, this park had a concert shell, caged bears, a monkey house, and children's petting zoo. The park is now a haven for drug users and is not the safest park to wander into as you may be accosted by panhandlers or thieves. There is an art museum in the Ellarslie house, but there is a risk of a... More

Located in a once beautiful part of the city. The area is now dirty and dangerous. There is no reason to go there. Stay away.

I'm a shame that the capital doesn't have a park that highlight what the garden state has to offer. The animals are no longer and even the swing set are in non-workable condition. The old deer pen has a sign that says,"it's wet lands" but it's more like weeds encased in a fence. Simply put... cutting the grass and collecting... More

A nice walking park but lacking scenery. What was once a grand park has seen better days, but you can always get a nice work out with a few laps around the park. There is also an art museum where you can reminisce over the rich history Trenton, NJ has to offer.

This was a brief drive around the park on our way to the Ellarslie Art/History Museum located in the park. This was perfect for my dad who has walking issues but loves history. We drove around and the large history signs in the park were awesome. We later realized we could get a handout at the museum- then we did the... More

This is a great big park right in west Trenton. There are wide paths, shade trees, ball fields and the Ellarslie Museum! In the good weather, the park is hopping! Watch out for those huge cultural events, however, because then the neighborhoods around and the park itself are packed (unless you love crowds!).
