Four of us played. The course has huge sand bunkers, hence the name. Several of the bunkers were damaged by weather and not re-sanded. Greens were in fine condition. A good course with a few challenging holes. They don't have a refreshment cart in circulation....More

Course is great, is always well maintained and they do a decent job of keeping the pace of play moving. 27 hole course so you have 3 nines and that helps to spread the golfers out. Starters are always really nice and in general everyone...More

Played all 3 nines at Sand Barrens and loved it. From cart guys to clubhouse and starter, everyone treated our group of 12 great!

A little pricey, it's a challenging but playable course (South & West nines played). Tricky greens, pretty fast, never really got the breaks down.

This review is really in two parts. The course itself is not great and in my opinion, overpriced. That said, the driving range is well maintained (hitting off grass!) and reasonably priced. There are cheaper options for a round nearby.

Decent course and great pace of play. Lots of sand to penalize errant shots. Local liquor rules prohibit beer purchase if your tee time was not made at least 3 days in advance.
