We visited on a Sunday with our 7yo son and infant daughter. Staff could not have been friendlier - lots of great information and wonderful with the children. Smaller "aquarium" than I expected, but a nice range of sealife and the educational exhibits more than made up for this. The salt water marsh trail was gorgeous, with bridges out over... More

This is a great little spot. We love to come by and bird. We walk the little trail and the new boardwalk and love the area!! It is small, but has lots to offer both educational for all or just a little stroll in the great outdoors! Love that they are teaching children to love nature. The local school children... More

My sister and I visited TWI in September for the Fall Migration Festival which we found out about from their Facebook page. Although it was a wonderful experience it was very confusing at first to figure out where we needed to go for each activity. It is NOT a "festival" where everything is in one place, but rather each event... More

Want to know about the ecosystem? Learn something while on vacation? Have the kids entertained? This is the place 1) Great for the family 2) Even have a week long summer camp that's perfect for families on vacation (9-2.30 pm each day). They do visits out of the center to farms, the beach and whale trips to keep everyone entertained.... More

With 7 kids ages 13 and under we needed a rainy day activity. This was perfect! We saw a movie, got to touch some critters that live in the back bays, and walked in the salt marsh (while the rain subsided) with an excellent naturalist. It has an aquarium and the kids can learn about the habitat of the bay.... More

We love this place!!! (We didn't realize there's a daily schedule. So suggest chech the website before you go. They have great tours.) I visited with my 12 year old son and my mom in an afternoon. We enjoyed the presentations and nature walk. Didn't feel enough, my son and I joined the sunset kayak tour. So fun! Worth the... More

This is worth the drive, it's about 20 minutes from the boardwalk on Cape May. You can walk the grounds and go out on the catwalks for free, but it's $8 to enter the museum. The museum is beautiful and a very impressive building but the paths around it really make this a special place.

Our grand children enjoy going here for the programs and to see the animals, they offer a fishing and crabbing time in the summer where they teach the children how to fish and crab. They also have a feeding time and a touch tank. It may be more for bird watchers then children but we always have a good time... More

Good for all ages. There is something age appropriate for all children to adult. A must see and do in Cape May County. Good year round.

We went to Stone Harbor for the day and decided to look at their number one attraction. If you are a nature lover and love learning about the ecosystem, you will really like it here. The acquarium room is very small and had some touch activities for kids. Other than that and the cute gift shop, it will be boring... More
