Beautiful? Come on, this is the Jersey shore and none of it is beautiful. Beautiful compared to other Jersey beaches? Maybe, but that certainly isn't saying much. Let's be honest.

this beach is clean (need beach tag in summer); has life guards; has mild to medium surf; very walkable and accessible to wheelchairs, baby buggies; family friendly

The beach is wide and super-clean. We never saw a single bit of trash. Parking is free and plentiful at the north end of town (not sure about the south). Accommodations can be made for wheelchairs on the beach.
