This is a great day trip but get there early so you can get a space to set your things. By midmorning, this place is packed. The water is FREEZING! We went on a day when it was almost 100 degrees out and the water was still freezing. If you cannot swim, this is not the pool for you. It... More

My friend and I had a wonderful time on a hot summer day. I loved that the pool is spring fed and enjoyed the location near Norvin Green State Park and the ability for find a public-access pool near my home. Subsequent to my visit, (within 3 days) I became quite ill for close to three months. I finally visited... More

It was about 100 degrees out when we visited the pool we expect the normal over crowding no where to park etc. Whenwe arrived we were shocked to find parking right by the gate. There were lots of people picnicing under the trees. The shallow area of the pool was packed but the deep end was empty we had it... More

I hesitate to give the Highlands Natural Pool too many superlatives because I like that it's a relatively hidden gem that has not been overrun by crowds, noise, and the usual masses of unkempt humanity that has fouled so many lakes and parks in the state. But it's just too good not to praise it. It's not an "adult" pool,... More

This is a terrific place to escape from the craziness of cities. I've been going up there since childhood and it's gotten even better. The pool is free of chlorine and fed by streams. There are large sun-protected tables on one side. Before entering the pool area are tables with barbecue areas; there's a volleyball net and amazing hiking trails.... More

This is a very large stream fed pool in the woods of Ringwood. A very natural atmosphere. If you are looking for pristine and chlorine, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a beautiful, earthy, wooded setting and don't mind some frogs and snakes, then this is your paradise! Fabulous, friendly staff too. There is... More

If you compare this to a town swimming pool, it's really nice. The water is clean, without chlorine. That's a big plus. The surroundings are quite lovely. The pool is split into two sections, a shallow area for children, where you can use pool noodles and search for salamanders with nets (my kids had a blast). It's a graded pool,... More

For $10 I find it very cheap! Staff are so friendly, the pool is so big, everything around is calm, beautiful and relaxing. So many insects, but that's nature.

About a year ago my boyfriend dragged me to this place after we ran out of Lakes to visit. Every lake we have visited or beach is always crowded at the swimming area and picnic/BBQ as well. We went to the natural pool and we had a great time, it felt like we were in a totally different country. The... More

I had read a review a couple of months ago in our local newspaper and have been wanting to visit this place since then. After today, I now want to see who wrote that story, so that I recognize the hyperbole in that writer's future articles. It is like a day in the mountains, far away from sophisticated urban centers... More
