Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

One of the campus highlights on the university campus. If you are visiting Princeton this is a must see. If you are entering from the main gate on Nassau Street this is right in front of you.

This is a highlight on the Princeton campus. You can't drive on the campus so find a parking lot. The building is stunning and free to view.

Even if you don't take a tour of Nassau Hall, it remains a must-see. Right on the edge of campus and facing the shops and restaurants of Nassau Street, it is literally the heart of the town both physically and symbolically. Walk around it and soak up the hundreds of years of history. When it was built, it was said to be the largest building in the colonies. Now it stands, covered in ivy, as a testament to the longevity of the school around it.

Nassau Hall is a seriously old building, was constructed in 1756 before the American revolution! It's a great example of the stone construction of the revolutionary era. After crossing the Delaware on Christmas eve 1776, George Washington's troops drove the British and Hessian mercenaries into Nassau Hall (!) before Alexander Hamilton forced them to surrender. The stone steps have grooves in them from so many footsteps on them. And the building still is the site of history, with student sit-ins at Nassau Hall, most recently the Black Lives Matter movement.

You will undoubtedly pass by this building if you visit Princeton. As the oldest part of campus, it boasts a lot of history. It is beautiful at every season and an important landmark on campus.

Very historic building adjacent to Princeton battlefield. It was the largest such building of an institution at the time. First US Capitol. Very nice grounds. Must visit in Princeton.

It is always a great joy to see, to be around this iconic building of the Princeton University. It was wonderful to have almost the full of the building in the winter with trees dried up.

When you come to Princeton and the University this is a must stop. Theplace looks great at night. It is the oldest building on the campus and once served as our nations capitol. The bell rings in tower. The original bell was given to Bill Bradley Princeton's greatest athlete!.

This is the oldest building on the Princeton University campus. In part of 1783 Princeton NJ was the capital of the US and this building housed the American government. It now houses administrative offices of the University.
