We went for a cold walk on the beach. We found clean, yellow sand with lots of huge intact seashells. The kids had a great time chasing the waves. The sand was a nice texture and we didn’t find any trash. Nice boardwalk.

Pleasant day at the beach searching for shells and pretty rocks with the family. The kids also had fun playing the claw crane machines. The arcades had a few play-until-you-win machines as well as machines with “easy” signs taped to the front glass with quality...More

Also a pleasure to be at the beach or in the area when it is dotted with people as opposed to the late spring / summer . . . . cool crisp air and some area locations open is hard to beat. There has been...More

I love Point Pleasant because of the atmosphere. A calmer Jersey Shore. The beach is fairly clean. They boardwalk is not too long. They have some decent bars/clubs and some very good seafood restaurants. Good for families and an over 35 crowd.

More family oriented than Seaside or Belmar in my opinion. Boardwalk has been restored and things are back to normal. Beach is well kept, and kiddy rides and arcades on the boardwalk. My wife loves the skeeball.

I managed to get to the beach in Point Pleasant for one precious hour this week while visiting New Jersey from the UK. I couldn’t have picked a better day. It was 75 degrees and sunny, with clear skies and an ocean breeze. I entered...More

In September, no guards are on site. Its still warm and pleasant, most bars, store and restaurants are still open BUT swimming is dangerous and waves are too strong.
