I think everything for sale here is made by Gregg LaPlaca, himself. He is a true artist who uses multiple firing techniques to produce beautiful work. If you live in the area, he even teaches classes.

Laplaca is one of my favorite places to shop near the shore. There are always so many new and beautiful pieces of pottery to admire every time you stop in. I recommend picking up a piece of cookware while you're there. I bought a small dutch oven not long ago and it cooks everything perfectly-and is handsome enough to go... More

I discovered this store a couple of years ago on the Asbury Park Boardwalk, and was surprised to see a pottery studio on the beach. What a great Idea! The work is amazing, and they also have classes and childrens activities. The Main store has since moved to Point Pleasant where they hold the classes and have a retail location,... More

Do not miss Laplaca Pottery Works! Folks are super friendly, pottery is gorgous and very affordable. Would be nice to see more business like Laplaca on the boardwalk.
