I live close to this park and often go on runs through the park. If there is trash or a fallen tree/branch it is immediately cleaned up or removed within the next day.

The cherry trees were lovely. Families posed for pictures. It was fun to see cute children and extended families, many of them apparently immigrants, enjoying a beautiful sunny day. Walk or take public transit to afford traffic tie-ups around and inside the park!

It is cherry blossom time, and we had a nice afternoon visit. parking was easy but we did drive a few blocks to get near the cherry blossoms. Park information indicates 1000 new cherry blossom trees have been planted in recent years. The cherry blossoms...More

What a spectacular view when all the cherry blossoms are in bloom! The drive through the park was amazing. There is a cherry blossom center which I did not go in, so I cannot review, but that is an option to stop at. Well worth...More

Visited this park to see cherry blossoms. Thought instead of going to Washington DC or New York City parks, lets give it a try and I was surprised to see so many trees looking so beautiful with cherry blossoms. The park is maintained very well.

My first visit to this absolutely amazing park in Newark, N.J., designed by the Olmsted Brothers, same landscape architectural firm that designed Central Park. We went to see the largest cherry blossom collection in the United States, more than Washington, D.C. There is no admission...More

It is Cherry Blossom time in Newark, NJ and that means an annual trip to the Cherry Blossom Festival at Branch Brook Park. The parking can be insane on a beautiful day but the park is worth the trip. Hundreds of Cherry Trees have sprung...More

Went there to see cherry blossom , beautiful trees with flowers, it’s not in full peak but good enough to enjoy. Parking is little bit disappointed, need to go around whole park to find it, plus is that you can still watch trees from car.

There is a road that goes through the park and you can park on that same road. You’ll see the cherry blossoms on the sides of the entire road. If you don’t want to walk you can look at beautiful trees from the car.
