My husband and I visited this beach after coming to Manasquan, NJ from York, PA for another errand. Although the beach was clean and not terribly crowded, the fee to access the beach for a couple hours seemed absurd. It costs $9 each for a...More

A clean, family-oriented beach with appropriate amenities, including GeeGee's and an arcade at Main Beach, and restrooms on the beach walk. The surfing beach at the south end by the Manasquan Inlet has year-round activity, including the fishing fleet out of Point Pleasant. It's home...More

I recently visited this beach for the first time and I grew up in New Jersey. Compared to other Jersey shore locations it has plenty of garbage cans and is therefore very clean. It is a decent stretch of beach with plenty of space. We...More

Manasquan is a great place for those who like to swim, surf and hang on the beach. The area closer to the inlet is more quiet while the area towards the town is more busy. Find your way to a typical beach going day trip...More

Manasquan beach is clean, safe (excellent lifeguards), good for singles, families, and even retirees. One of the few NJ beaches that permits surfing during the summer days on their surfers beach next to Manasquan Inlet, where the jetty usually creates some rideable waves. Some casual...More

Odd little beach town. In the summers the local police run numerous speed traps and like to give summer visitors bogus violations that improve the towns cash flow. Mostly white community, which like Sea Girt, has few visitors of color. Watch the speed limits closely.

We travel up and down the Jersey shore coastline looking for nice beaches and I'd have to say Manasquan Beach is one of the nicer beaches on the coastline. We came here on a Fall Saturday afternoon that was 80 degrees, There were very few...More
