Odd little beach town. In the summers the local police run numerous speed traps and like to give summer visitors bogus violations that improve the towns cash flow. Mostly white community, which like Sea Girt, has few visitors of color. Watch the speed limits closely.

Came upon this beach on accident at the end of September and was not disappointed! It was clean and beautiful! I loved the swingset on the beach - just can't beat that view while you're on the swings (and you're never too old for a...More

We travel up and down the Jersey shore coastline looking for nice beaches and I'd have to say Manasquan Beach is one of the nicer beaches on the coastline. We came here on a Fall Saturday afternoon that was 80 degrees, There were very few...More

This is a great,well-guarded beach, with clean water and lots of families enjoying the sun. It's not full of college kids or singles with loud music or rowdy behavior. Alcohol is prohibited. There are a few good food stands and a game room along the...More

I've lived in the area all my life. I've lived in several towns and been to most beaches in the area. Manasquan has them all beat. Easy access, you can bring food/drink on beach, you can't do that in Sea Girt or Spring Lake :(...More

While we live in Manasquan, we virtually never visit Manasquan Beach but instead go to Sea Girt or, most often, Spring Lake both of which have actual boardwalks. We like to run by the ocean and Spring Lake's boardwalk simply can't be matched (4-mile round...More

A little cold to swim right now, but that doesn't stop the surfers! And there's plenty of them, and they are as good as they get on the Jersey Shore. One of the top high school surfing teams in the nation. It's a clean, well...More
