We visited on a beautiful fall day, most of the trees still had their leaves and it made for a nice backdrop for taking photos. We spent about an hour and a half walking the trails taking pics and resting on the many benches. We will definitely return in the spring and summer to see what's in bloom.

The park is gorgeous and well maintained. Unfortunately you hear the noise from a nearby highway, which is the only reason I am not giving it five stars. :)

Nice gardens and paths for walking or just sitting on one of the benches relaxing and taking in the fresh air. All of the flowers are perennials. There’s a rock garden, plants that attract butterflies, bird feeders that attract a variety of birds. There’s also a stream and a pond with frogs, turtles and dragon flies. There is not a... More

The dynamics of Buck Gardens is ever changing during different times of the year My wife & I went in June. Spring flowers were declining and summer growth was beginning to appear. The ponds and streams are beautiful. There are trails that change your views from high points to valley views. Benches are placed around to sit, relax and absorb... More

Giverney of New Jersey - great for families or a solo meditative stroll with Mother Nature - gardens are pristine and well marke. Check schedule for plant sales and interesting lectures. Only bummer is that NO pets are allowed !

A very small but world class rock gardens, can get a bit crowded on weekends with noisy children running around, mid week is a much better Spencerian, Lot of benches along the trails to sit back and enjoy the view.

If you enjoy meandering paths and secret alcoves with benches, this is the garden for you. I visited in early May 2015 and found the garden in full bloom. There were also several concrete container gardens near the entrance that were filled with amazing dainty flowers. In the garden, recognized rhododendrons, irises and clematis. Peonies and wisteria all had buds... More

I came here solo on a weekday in late October. I wasn't expecting too much considering it was already fall. The place was tucked away on a small road in a really beautiful section of town. Upon arrival I went to the visitor's center and was warmly greeted, given a map and the lady suggested which paths to take to... More
