Nice views, easy stop off I-80 (even if the water was brown due to recent rains ;) Clean bathrooms, friendly rangers. Kittatinny Point Visitor Center has three NPS passport stamps and sells Gatorade and water (cold!) as well as usual mementos. We'll be back here...More

Anywhere along route 80 in NJ or 611 in PA will give you spectacular views of the gap. There are rest stops along the way to park and enjoy the scenes.

When I drive home from PA to NJ, I always look up and see the towering mountains of the Water Gap. To anyone who says NJ is a dump, take them here, just even for 10 minutes and look at the beauty of the area....More

Lots of parking, well-marked trails, beautiful views from the tops of the mountains. No food service, although the have port-o-johns.

Lots of lakes.... woods... winding roads ... lazy streams winding through the hills and valleys ... beautiful sights any time of year. Worth a visit.
