I Go there walking...prior to high season weekends! Peaceful, beautiful vistas, dogs on leashes are welcome! Take a picnic stay as long as you want n beaches or grasses knolls. Life guards in season, camp grounds!

Being a native of Hunterdon county it makes me sad to see it 1/2 full. I understand it has other purposes. But for a Recreation spot? Not so much. Many other spots to chose from.

So much to do here! The water is VERY low right now, so boating or kayaking can be tough, but there is a ton of trails and so much to see and explore. There is also camping through the State. Set aside a few hours...More

Had a fantastic day trip and did paddle boating and kayaking. Staff really friendly and helpful. We went back again the day after as we enjoyed it so much.

Great place to go to during the off season, non-summer. Very quiet and spacious. Lots of walking and running paths. Not very many campers. Well maintained.

The park and beautiful and clean with wide paths everywhere, picnic areas spread throughout the facility as well as clean and spacious restrooms. The boat rentals were decently priced although we chose not to rent one so i don't have much to say on that....More

no overnights for your dog but you could try calling the Puppy Patch on Rt. 31 for boarding
