We arrive too late on a Sunday to tour the museum but enjoyed the sunshine on the river flowing over the dam and the beautiful red mill building.

Very glad the history of this mill has been preserved, and that we finally took the time to visit. The museum does not seem to be well run, though, which is a shame, because there is a lot to see. More signage explaining what you are seeing would be great, and some major dusting needs to occur, too. When we... More

The red mill itself is a cool space, with lots of equipment remaining in place. However, the items displayed within were disorganized and often irrelevant to the site. The informational placards were completely random, with no discernible flow to the information presented. It felt like every time someone found or donated something old, the museum slapped some information on it... More

This view never gets old, no matter how often, or what time of year you visit! Lovely vista points from multiple angles, great photographic material, super restaurants and other attractions right there - with views of the Mill! You can also visit the museum in the Red Mill.

Visited about a year ago. Good historical display of the mill itself, the quarry behind it, and a store and schoolhouse. Gives you a good idea of how the mill was used and what it was like to live in Clinton Hunterdon County back in the day. The mill itself is ridiculously picturesque (see the picture).

The museum is interesting to visit. It's not just the Red Mill building that everyone sees in the picture, but also other period buildings relocated to this site from different areas of Hunterdon County.
