We did the self guided tour. The home is nice and the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, but you only get to see the first floor and a few rooms upstairs, so the $12 per person seemed a bit steep compared to some of...More

The guided tour of the estate is done by very well informed docents. The teahouse on the property is well worth a vist. The gift shop has many unique items for sale and the homemade breads are wonderful. Have some there and take some home...More

We chatted with the sales person in the Emlen Physick Estate gift shop and she gave us a great tip: buy a Mid-Atlantic Arts Council membership (just $40 for the two of us) and save. We scheduled a trolley/ Physick house tour for the next...More

The Physick Estate is a must see in Cape May. While there be sure to head over to the estate's Carriage House. The Carriage House sells all kinds of neat mementos but to fully enjoy Victorian Cape May, check out one or more of the...More

You HAVE to visit the Emlen Physick Estate at LEAST once during a visit to Cape May! Lovely, estate with the charm of yesteryear... and the intrigue of an era long gone but lovingly remembered.

The hour long interractive evening was cute, but very predictable. I loved the maid- she was so believable. I think they need a writer to make it a bit more mysterious and include more of life in the time period. I had hoped it would...More

We visited four times. Two of those were for the historical visit and tour. Very nicely done by the tour guides. Two years ago, we visited for the Halloween tour. Loved it. Last year's Halloween visit was a bit disappointing. The actors didn't seem to...More

Way too crowded to enjoy this Victorian home. It's all self-guided even though there are docents in almost every room. Property needs to make 1/2 hour guided tours to manage the chaos. Very disappointed to not get up close and personal. If you don't get...More

It's about four and a half miles. The Ferry offers Cape May Ferry and Tour packages, some of which include a shuttle stop at the estate. A ride via Uber might be another option.
