Washington Street is about 3 blocks long and has a great variety of shops and restaurants. It is a nice place to go for a stroll, have some ice cream or a quick bite. It is close to the Victorian homes and the beautiful beach.

Great pedestrian walking mall. Three blocks closed off to vehicles just two blocks from the beach. Many stores and restaurants to choose from. Most are open year round. Very good taffy and candy stores for the kids. Also a nice horse drawn carriage ride is available from here. Prices for most stores and restaurants are reasonable. Nice public restrooms available... One of the best shopping malls I have been to! My Mum and I were visiting Cape May for a day, and spend a couple hours here. It was nice to be able to park the car, though we had a tough time finding parking, and walk around from shop to shop. We got some souvenirs, ice cream, fudge; we... More

This is a pedestrian street with shops and restaurants on either sides. You do have to cross the street for the cross roads. Shops are very cute and have a decent variety - bookstore, novelty store, standard souvenirs, sweets, art oriented gifts, Christmas decorations. There are a few restaurants as well, and the carriage rides leave from the Washington Street... More

Been here a few times when we visit Cape May. Lots of interesting little shops make up this outdoor mall. Great exercise. Nice little restaurants and bars scattered throughout for everyone's wants and needs, healthy choices and not so healthy. Lots of local venders selling there wares. Great place to visit.

I love the unique shops and open-air, no traffic of the Washington Street Mall. There is something for everyone. Purchases I made were books, jewelry, Christmas ornaments, bath bombs, hat and scarf, fudge and salt water taffey.

Unique shops with affordably priced, but quality, merchandise. Nice selections for young and old, as well as several grab n go food choices.
