The Mall is filled with overpriced tourist type shops. The are several places to get a bite to eat. You can spend a couple of hours there checking out the stores or just strolling around. Parking in the area during the summer is tough. In...More

THE BEST BEACH TOWN CENTER I SAW IN THE NORTH EAST. Mind you, I’m only comparing it with a couple of HAMPTON locations (MONTAUK, and DAVIS PARK on FIRE ISLAND) plus NY’s ROCKAWAY BEACH and CONEY ISLAND and NJ’s ATLANTIC CITY (all of which I...More

I've been going to Cape May, New Jersey for years. Congress Hall is amazing to visit, the Washington Mall has just about everything you need, and if you venture out, head down to Sunset Beach and see the concrete ship. Beautiful sunsets. The first weekend...More

This little mall in the heart of Cape May is a must. It has everything to look at, eat, smell and buy that you came imagine. Just steps from the Ocean and from the haunted village of Cape May. My family and I visit every...More

There's so many different stores on this mall that I needed 3 different visits to get through it all. There's also a ton of places to eat. There are clothing boutiques (check out Caroline Boutique for upscale, comfy, boho brands), gift shops, toy stores, book...More

Take your time and wander about the local shops to find something you'll treasure. My spouse found Splash and purchased a mosaic drops necklace and earrings. But there are so many other shops, just stroll along, get an ice cream and enjoy the afternoon or...More

I always look forward to going to the Washington Street Mall Area when we go to the shore! Last Christmas we went and it was nice to see everything decorated! The stores all had unique gifts and fun stuff to look at ;9

We love this walking mall. A definite must visit when we come here. They always have it beautifully decorated for whatever season it is. It was a cool and blustery day but never too cold for a Blizzard from DQ!

Typically beach outlet. It was nice to walk up and down and look at the shops. Wife and child did more :( Thought the prices were too high. It had a lot of different stores. Stores for everyone.

I did not expect to find anything special in these stores but obviously it's an area which every tourist should visit. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of shops. It really didn't feel like a tourist trap here you're faced with "made in china"...More

You might want to check some of the shops across from the Washington Street Mall, near the Acme market. Another option is the shop at Sunset Beach, near the concrete ship. Good luck!

Sorry to delay in getting back to you. I just saw your question now. There are MANY shops, and when we were there, in October, the majority of the shops were still open.

Definitely no parking garages. There are parking lots near the mall and a few blocks away. If it's nice weather, it's really no hardship. It's good to go @ the start of the day, to find decent parking. This last time, we... More
