No need to leave this area to hike and see the fall color. This park is spread out over several miles. I parked in the lot off Newman's Lane, about 25 spaces and it was almost full on this beautiful Saturday afternoon. The kiosk was out of maps, but I looked online at the map before I left to get... We love to hike the trails and go fishing at this picturesque location. The kids love to look for snakes and salamanders . Many go there to bird watch and the leaves are stunning in the fall!

My husband goes running here all the time. I prefer to hike and walk around. In the winter it is so peaceful and beautiful and spring is even better with everything starting to bloom. Clean, safe and a great place to go for a hike or run.

Great hiking trail through beautiful country with a river, railroad bridges, and fields. Not too strenuous but enough to keep it interesting. Parking is free and plentiful and the park is close to Bridgewater and surrounding towns.

My full walk goes from the park across from Crim school on Crim road to the reservoir, then clockwise around it until the "in need of repair" wooden bridge, then left to circle around the houses. This takes you to Chimney Rock road, and its a short walk from there to the center of Martinsville where you can lunch at... More

A good selection of trails ... scenery is pretty and it's easy to get to. Beware of mountain bikes - weekends get pretty crowded.

Cool spot. This is a great bird watching spot, but it was way too hot when we went. Thought about it, but went for the short hike to the waterfall, which was pleasant and a minor...minor challenge. A fun way to spend an hour or so

Visited this park and did the Red trail. It is a very well maintained trail, great for a family visit, easy walk. There are a lot of mountain bikers on this trail so you have to watch out. There is not much to see, but if you enjoy a walk in the woods, perfect trail for you.

Beware that this is more for mountain bikers than anything. This really isnt a good spot for hikers and especially not for hikers with their pets. Mountain bikers are flying up and down the trails seeking thrills armed only with their little bell that offers no real warning as they tear through the trail. All I could think of is... More

This place is a true gem. I went Mountain biking here with a family friend who let me try out their $10,000 mountain bike and it was amazing. I felt like I was skiing powder. But anyway it is so much fun here. Plenty of space whether your looking for a romantic hike or an intense ride, you can find... More
