Walked around to see the late 19th century village. Several buidlings were closed. Some were in a somewhat dilpadated state. The General store was open and had a reenactor that provided a nice example of that time period. Their are a few picnic bench areas....More

We wandered around the old village and got to go inside some of the old houses. There were people dressed in period costumes and the woman in the house with the loom showed my kids how to weave. Beware of snakes!

My boyfriend and I went here for a walk. All the houses were closed though. I would return for an activity here. It is a cool area.

This is a nice walk in the woods when the buildings are shut down. Try to coordinate your visit when there are planned activities to get more out of your visit. There are port-a-johns and picnic tables but no outside signs to tell one about...More

Most of the time the village buildings are closed. One weekend in the fall they are open with demonstrations. Find out what weekend that is and visit then. Otherwise it is just worth a stop if you are passing by.

This would be wonderful if we wouldve caught it while reenactments were going on. However, to wander around and take in the sights was great as well. An easy walk. Wish the buildings were open to experience a self tour a little better.
