Nice spot to get away for a short walk. Very peaceful with beautiful scenery. Lovely chapel with interesting history.

A lovely place to walk around and contemplate. A nice paved path (might be hard for people who can't walk easily) winds through some gardens and three outdoor chapel venues (somewhat uncomfortable wooden benches are available). Free. The museum was moving and rather sad. Really...More

I am not certain if they have a "picnic area" but there is a wide open lawn landscape which I think you can sit out for a picnic lunch.
