To have Prescott Park and Ben Anderson (runs the entertainment) is such a stroke of good fortune. We attend about one event weekly. We have seen remarkable internationally known talent for a small cost. The gardens are beautiful and should not be missed. We love Prescott Park.

I have performed multiple weddings in Prescott Park. It is a beautiful setting, especially when the gardens are planted and in bloom. A beautiful setting for photos, and a short walk to the ocean's edge.

This park is beautiful in late spring, summer and fall... They have gorgeous gardens, an entertainment area with a variety of events during the summer. Movie nights on the lawn.. Its great to just walk around during the day with a friend... Historic plaquards.. Waterfront.. It's beautiful.

This park is beautiful and relaxing. It's the perfect place to have a picnic lunch or see a play in the evening. I like to go to moe's sub shop and get an Italian sub, chips, and soda. It makes for a nice lunch in the park. You can even feed the little birds some of your bread! My daughter... More

Very few cities can boast parks like Prescott. Expect big changes (on the positive side) over the next few years. Great summer concerts and shows. Amazing views as well.

This is a nice place to walk off a lunch or dinner. Well maintained gardens, paths and restrooms. Nice access to the river. Sat on a park bench and watched a lobsterman stack his traps...made me appreciate not being a lobsterman. We visited in November, the gardens must be spectacular in season.

Lovely peaceful park that still looked amazing in October. It is small but very pretty. We came upon this while walking and it was a pleasant surprise.

We never visit Portsmouth without a stop by the gardens here. They are spectacular at certain times of the year and well worth a visit. The pictures we take are always wonderful. We love the strolls through the test gardens and learning about plants we have not seen before. They are all marked with identifying labels. The park offers views... More

Prescott Park is one of the treasures of Portsmouth. The gardens are lovely, the view of the river is excellent, it is within walking distance of the downtown and adjacent to Strawberry Banke. If you are planning to visit Portsmouth, do not pass up a trip to the gardens.
