It is small but beautiful place. The flower and vegetable gardens are nicely done. It's a peaceful place against the water that adds to the charm of Portsmouth.

We enjoyed strolling through Prescott Park very much. The Waterfront was beautiful with Piers to walk out on to look at the water and scenery. Someone had put a lot of work into the flower gardens. They were absolutely gorgeous! I would highly recommend this...More

Beautiful gardens right on the waterfront. Annuals, perennials big grassy areas for a picnic. Also concerts, movies, plays happen during the summer months. Bring a beach chair and watch a show!

Prescott Park is a lovely waterfront park with beautiful gardens. Take the walk over the bridge to the little island. Enjoy watching the local fishing fleet come into or out of port. A wonderful way to spend the afternoon and evening.

Great little park that lets you stroll down the waterfront with a few nice gardens and lovely trees. Not dog friendly though but no entrance fee.

No, but there are 8 dog parks in Portsmouth. For a tiny town, that's a lot. It's a great city for dogs. Large and small, you see them everywhere, and many shops put out water bowls to welcome them.
