Great way to spend a quiet, relaxing day with family. Bring a picnic or buy something there. Lots of history and trails to explore. Wonderful place for the family to explore.

Went here on a nice sunny summer day. Very nice cruise. I really enjoyed walking around the island and visiting the garden. I wished I could spend the night here. Maybe another time

Yes, you can get burgers/dogs at the grill by the dock OR you can make plans to eat in the hotel - best to call ahead.

There is no beach. You can swim in a roped off area at the boat landing where the kids from the religious retreat swim but I doubt you will want to
