Not as good as I remember. Crowded, people don't respect the trash in trash out policy. Restroom had dirty diapers on the floor. Lifeguards chronically making everyone get out of the water.

Good-sized campsites, fire rings with a built-in cooking grate. I try to get a site close to the clean and well-maintained restroom. Nice beach, also a small store.

Very nice camp sites with plenty of water access and bathrooms available. Camp sites are fairly spaced apart but each space differs in size. Sound carries over the water so if people on other sites are loud then you'll be able to hear. Roads are...More

Great campground! Make sure you reserve a spot by the lake as it nice to be able to go kayaking or other water sports without lugging stuff to a boat landing or beach. Best place to buy firewood is the store on the left just...More

Pawtuckaway is a great place for first time young campers. My kids love it here and facilities work well for them. Distance is good for a weekend trip from Boston area. Traffic can make it a longer trip however.

Not sure how remote this is but considering the type of park, it is probably within ear shot of other campers so quiet rules would apply but I am pretty sure that you would be isolated from errant hikers.
