Great spot to put on snow shoes and hike around the ledge down to Echo Lake. My kids love this spot and have since they were little. Beautiful views of the ledge and ice climbers.

Some of the best views around. What a reality check as you can get very close to the edge. We actually saw people repelling down the face and hopped over the edge right in front of us! Very cool.

This is one of my favorite places to go. My rating is only "very good" because getting to the viewing area involves a walk/climb over dirt, tree roots, and rocks and is not accessible to people with or respiratory disabilities.

Killer views. Great experience for us and the kids. We drove up, super easy hike to the ledge... fenced in areas so moderately safe for younget kids. Highly recommend.

Allow about 45 minutes to go up as the snow can be crusty. Nice view of the town and Mt Cranmore but not a clear view of Mt Washington due to the low clouds

Had no idea what we would find at the end of the road leading up to the top of the Cathedral Ledge but wow, ever so happy we found this place. Absolutely marvelous views. The viewing area is just a few steps away from the parking lot and a low fence offers a measure of security. Look forward to coming... More

Be able to walk on (slightly) uneven terrain. Not handicap accessible. Long uphill drive, easy parking. Road closed part of Winter. Not a rainy day event.
