This is not a castle! It's barely even a big house. Not worth the money! The house took all of a few mins to look around and is simply a rich guys house who lost his money. We wouldn't recommend the money or the time...More

Have actually been here several times Its a very scenic location Surrounded by thousands of undeveloped acres. Which I believe is now protected This is an impressive structure with early technology and a lot of history and it is being kept up well.

Love the Castle, the views and the trails. Really take your time to see the architecture, the roof tiles, the craftsmanship that went into building this castle. Materials were brought from overseas to put just the right touches into this love castle. I haven't eaten...More

An old college boyfriend used to rave about this place decades ago. I've been here a few times, and it is a gorgeous mansion with an incredible view. The Arts & Crafts interior is classic, and the grounds and gardens are lovely . It's a...More

A well maintained property both inside and outside. The location was scenic with a long-drive up to the house (it might be called Castle in the Clouds but I let you on the fact that it is not really a Castle as we know it)...More

For being such a beautiful landmark they have very odd hours. Traveled all the way from MD just to be greeted by a very rude and snobby older woman sharply saying we are closed hood bye go enjoy the art show for 15 minutes. Very...More

We eat out on the terrace in the summer/fall. It has a beautiful view of the lake. The food is excellent and service is also. The inside tables are in "stalls" that were used in olden days with Brass railings. Beautiful, quaint and fun. It...More

We visited on a really beautiful day, so there were no clouds - but there was the most incredible view from the restaurant. We didn't have time to tour the house, but had a short walk through the grounds and lunch in the restaurant. There...More
