This is a wonderful museum in the center of Manchester. It is not large, but does include American and European art,. Even a Picasso is in its permanent collection. This is a great place to visit for an afternoon.

This was well worth the trip to Manchester. We went on the tour that is offered and I wish all museums did this. Our guide was very very good. Quick and got us through it all with enough info at each room.

We took a visiting relative to spend the day at the Currier. Enjoy the visit exhibits plus the highlights of its outstanding permanent collection. Enjoyed a snack the Wintergarden. That's a great museum so manageable and always enjoyable to spend some time.

This place ranks in the same 'small individual museum' genre I would put the Morgan in NYC, Isabella Stewart in Boston or Wallace Collection in London. The variety and curation of the eclectic art collection is to be highly commended with a very strong selection...More
