The trails around Lake Massabesic offer great opportunities to get out and do some biking, hiking, or just walking.

Have enjoyed visiting for picnics, hiking around the lake, and there is a decent dirt trail for mountain bikes. Very pretty place.

That is a good idea, I had bought a pair of wading boots to get my boats in/out of the water and getting into/out of the boots in the boat was one serious exercise that in the 2 man kayak, risked capsizing and in the 1 man... More
