Across the river from the mill is Mill Plaza. It's a pretty little park at the corner of Union & Main that overlooks the river and the mill. Very pleasant place for a short walk or a picnic on a nice day. Clean and convenient....More

I enjoyed seeing how real socks are made. The place looks and smells like it did over 100 years ago. I like looking at the water fall that used to run the mill.

I wouldn't recommend going here on purpose, but if you're in the area it is somewhat interesting. Local schools host art shows here, that is fun to look at. The staff is helpful and pleasant. The pavilion outside is nice.

Very nice side trip on our way around the lake.loved the history. Doesn't take long to do the self tour. Staff very friendly. Donations only, no charge. The old building is beautiful.
