Pathways for Keene has done an excellent job with the rail system in Keene. One section near downtown has a bicycle repair station. If you are a runner or cyclist this is the place to train. They have two bridges that cross over highways

I love walking on the rail trail. It is great in all seasons, except for the snowmobiles in the winter. I feel safe walking alone and people are always very friendly. The city does a great job maintaining it.
