Easy hike to a pretty waterfall

Pretty much a free attraction, you just have to pay a small parking fee (Less than $10 per car). This hike was much easier than some of the other ones we did in the area (as in my... read more

We've visited the falls a few times, at different times of the year, and each time we've just not been impressed. Not sure if it's because there are so many incredibly impressive waterfalls in the area, but this one just seems to pale in comparison. It's a single flume and the viewing area only gives a limited view. It's nice... More

Pretty much a free attraction, you just have to pay a small parking fee (Less than $10 per car). This hike was much easier than some of the other ones we did in the area (as in my mom was okay with finishing this one). Quite a few stairs, so stay away if you aren't good with stairs- or at... More

The hike is short enough even for me -- the out of shape one. The falls are stunning and the photos you get there are Holiday card worthy!

Getting to these falls is an easy walk and well worth it. The falls are beautiful. There is parking but you must pay a fee (honor system). We went early one morning and had the place to ourselves. The trail is well maintained, but there are stairs.

The short hike to Glen Ellis Falls is peaceful and very enjoyable. Take the time to actually read the posted plaques describing how the geological explanation of the falls and surrounding area. Even little ones can enjoy this hike and the view of the falls when you reach the bottom of the trail is glorious. Take pics!

There was no one there when we visited Sunday morning before 10 but people were showing up as we were leaving. It was pretty obvious that it gets fairly busy, most likely especially during the warmer as most places do in that area. It's probably a 15min walk from the parking lot to the falls. It is a trail walk... More

Lots of stairs, but not a difficult hike/walk. The view of the falls is very nice and the scenery is pretty. Worth a stop if you are in the area, but not a destination in and of itself.

The hike is rather easy. At the end there are steps you will need to climb back. Not too bad. We did it with two little girls and it was fine. The falls are very nice. Was a nice break on the way back from mount Washington.

A stunning view of the mountains, rocks and falls. There are stone steps down to the falls and back of course. It's right before the visitor center.
