Black Mountain Ski Area offers affordable skiing and riding for all ages in beautiful Jackson, New Hapmshire. In the summer and fall months we offer scenic one hour horseback rides for ages eight and up, pony rides for the kids as well as all inclusive overnight adventures!

Amazing view 1500 climbing feet some parts were a bit steep for young kids but my six year old did it felt great to sit down on the quartz and eat lunch at the top then hike back down and go get ice cream

This is a relatively short hike to wonderful views from long rocky areas so there is plenty of room to find your own private picnic spot on the rocks. Steep climb up but do-able by fit people and agile dogs.

Yes it's late March and Black Mountain's slopes are fabulous! The conditions are still prime and not as many skiers heading north at this time of year, Spring skiing at its best so take full advantage!
