We go almost weekly to cultural events at the Hopkins. Each has been good; most terrific. Well worth a trip whether you are interested in the college or not.

All kinds of history at this esteemed college. Lovely old buildings. Nice place to walk around. The downtown is also very quaint.

Very helpful staff everywhere we went, and students and staff very extremely helpful and friendly. My daughter was able to sit in on a course and really enjoyed the experience!

I've lived in many towns as a student and later on im my life. Unfortunately Hanover for the most part resembles town that cater to the wealthy, those that have gone to and sent their children to prep schools. The college students often come off as deserving of things just because of wealth or that they go to Dartmouth. As... More

Dartmouth College is among the most beautiful college campuses in the U.S. (or world for that matter). If you have the time, be sure to take a tour of Baker Library (the tower is open on certain days) for a spectacular view of the upper Connecticut River valley. There are a number of lodging options in the area, but the... More

Lovely place to visit and attend college. Harsh winters, cozy fireside chats. Great people in a quintessential New England small town setting.

I don't attend Dartmouth, but as a resident of Hanover, it's a central presence. Quintessential New England -- ancient white buildings surround a well-kept green. Bustling students weaving through town traffic. Baker Library stands solidly on one end of the green, the other is occupied by Hopkins Center for the Arts. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else!

We walking paths and plenty of grass, the main square next to town is a wonderful place for kids to play, plenty of room and safe from traffic. Just across from the inn, there are a few benches for us adults to sit and relax as we watch them run around.

Dartmouth's campus was beautiful! It was very busy with lots of students and traffic was high, but it was extremely easy to walk around on foot. The surrounding town, Hanover, was very small, but walkable, and it was very nice. There weren't too many stores nearby, only a few blocks worth, but the necessities were there. There were also several... More
