Love the sand and the ocean but the water is VERY cold. Like to walk the boardwalk area and go in the little shops. On the weekends during the summer, love to listen to the concerts in the evening.

Hampton Beach is the place to be! They have ton of stores and restaurant on the boardwalk. Parking is cheap and the beach is just amazing. I would highly recommenced it, if you haven't been to Hampton Beach.

Just north of Hampton State Park is a less crowded beach with cheaper parking. This was the beach for us.

Hampton Beach is congested and clogged by both walkers and cars. It is very difficult to find a place to park. If you want a great beach go to Wallis Sands, just a few miles north. If you are handicapped, you get in for free.
