The cleanest and most tranquil lake in New England. Though it is not as marketed as other lakes, that's what makes it so special. With almost no commotion, lots of beachfront and clean, deep water, there is no rival body of water.

We put in our kayaks at the state park and paddled 3 miles down the lake. This lake is beautifully situated under the mountains. The water is clean and clear and the loons are beautiful. We are seriously thinking of buying a lake house here!

A favorite of ours. Love the Ledge Water Steakhouse and Inn at Newfound Lake. Hiking at Cardigan Mountain. Visit Spectacle Pond, too!

This is truly a beautiful lake! I much prefer the mountains, but this lake will grow on anyone. The entire volume of water turs over three or four times per year making it very clean. Fortunately for us, we now live onlt ten minutes away!...More

Celebrated our Mom's 90th birthday. We had a great week. The homes were clean, had beautiful views of the lake. The new Redwood was beautifully built and allowed us to have family meals for 18 of us without being cramped.
