After many years, we returned to the Flume and it was as beautiful as ever. Just hiking up the trails surrounding the area is a beautiful experience. If you like the walk, take the trail to the start of the Flume rather than the shuttle...More

I found this place on TripAdvisor and I'm so glad I did! It's not a very long walk. Lots of stairs but they aren't bad at all. It is so beautiful, we walked around twice just to get more pictures. The only thing I didn't...More

It is a very easy and pretty short walk. You can walk very close to the waterfall so it is very refreshing. The waterfall is very beautiful.

The Flume Gorge is a beautiful hike. Great scenery. Not good for families with children in strollers. Many steps and dirt path. Moderately easy.

The hike is gorgeous with wide paths and walkways with rain shelters along the way. Our family is accustomed to hiking and found it to be easy, but if you aren't accustomed to it, there are steps and inclines to traverse. Wear mosquito repellent.

When we went quite a few people just walked to the falls then turned back so it should be do-able if you take your time.

Another suggestion would be Loon Mountain. Although it's summer, there's all kinds of activities going on. We took the gondola to the top. AMAZING views. They have bike riding, zip lining, etc. We didn't do those though. We... More

I don't believe it is handicap accesible. I would say it is moderate difficulty. Its not that it's a hard hike but there are a lot of stairs to climb, so if stairs are an issue it would be more difficult. There is a bus... More
