Gorgeous gorge (or notch as they call it here). Great hike. Fairly pricey but worth it in my opinion. We went in the afternoon when crowds were winding down.

Apparently we chose one of the best days of the season to visit the park because of the clear skies. We paid for the discovery ticket that allows you entrance to the flume gorge and the aerial tram. So worth it! The hike at the...More

We came and stayed for a week and explored a number of the hiking trails in the area and loved it! We would definitely come again. The trails are not too terribly difficult, and the view are stunning. Definitely worth the trip!

My husband and I hiked up to view The Flume which was amazing but a lot of walking uphill including stairs. But if you take your time and stop to rest along the way it is manageable. Plus as you walk slower than others you...More

This park is one of my favorite I have visited to date. I actually plan in returning again soon. The gorge trail was beautiful and doable for most people. We enjoyed taking pictures and stopping and taking in the sights. We also enjoyed the Ariel...More

Found this spot by accident. Went up the tram to the top of the mountain. Best forecasted day of the season for being clear. Beautiful views well worth the $17.50 admission. Was not that busy which surprised me given the time of year.

I've only been there once in the fall. Not sure about snow cover and when that would be gone. As far as mud, I wouldn't think there would be so much as there is so much granite. The trails in the park are exquisite. There... More

When you are in the notch, you are basically in the bottom. There are a number of trails that hike up to top of the surrounding ridges. The Notch has a great variety of trails - there are some very simple trails, including... More
