I was just there over the weekend and it is AMAZING. Fantastic views, waterfalls, and trails. I never knew it was in New Hampshire and I am so glad I did so I can take all of my friends and show them that NH isn't just a boring place ;) I was lucky enough that it was not busy at... More

Beautiful place to visit for hiking/biking trails. Many different trails for different skill levels. Pemi trail near Lafayette campground is an easy trail but nice walk through the woods. Falling waters trail is more difficult but amazing views of waterfalls and rivers. Challenging and would not recommend bringing children. Old bridle path is next to falling waters trail. It is... FNSP is a park for all seasons and all reasons— hiking, skiing, fishing, camping, snow mobiles, waterfalls, views, biking, tram rides. My favourite is the Flume Gorge, a way to get up close to the rock along covered walkways and views up and down the canyon. Park fees and tram fees are extras. Plan to spend a while.

Went in mid-April, park was "closed" but didn't let that stop us. Flume was closed, they had "removed the boardwalks." We picked our way in over hardpack snow, gorgeous, quiet . . . we went as far in as possible, ultimately impassable but still beautiful. Going to go back once the snow has melted.

Franconia Notch is one of NH gems. The views are breathtaking and the trails unforgettable. We visit every time we come to NH.

Franconia Notch State Park is a great destination for an afternoon, a day, or a few days. We spent parts of two days in the park; considering all there is to see and do, we could easily have spent more time. We enjoyed the tram ride up Cannon Mountain and a hike at Flume Gorge. (We purchased the combo tickets.)... More

I felt pretty bad taking my mother here who tried and tried to turn around. Going at her pace, we finally made it out, but it became more about getting her out than it did about enjoying the trail. We weren't the only one. There was a mother and daughter duo in front of us that had to keep taking... More

We really enjoyed this walk. It is about 2 miles all round. Lots of interest from the Gothenburg, flume, huge boulders, moss, colourful trees and views. Shuttle bus takes you the first half mile if you need it. Spent ages taking photos. Bit expensive but very enjoyable walk. Cafe in the visitor centre, film and museum.

Franconia Notch State Park in New Hampshire was beautiful, especially the water fall. Very nice! It's a nice place to go for a family vacation. Lot's of walking, make sure you have comfortable shoes and of course water...bring water. I think the hike to water fall is about 2 miles...
