I've walked the campus several times, especially in the fall when the trees are a riot of color. The chapel and art museum are very nice, and the architecture and grounds are beautiful. It's one of the best and most historic prep schools in the country.

Have attended musical and dramatic performances and have never been disappointed! Whether visiting for the history or looking for a child's first class education or a novel souvenir from the campus book store, PEA as we call it is a must see in Exeter!

PEA is an elite private high school; most of the students live on the campus. The campus is huge, and the architecture is both classical and modern. The most notable building is a stunning library designed by the famous architect Louis Kahn famous for its dramatic atrium with enormous circular openings. The campus is located in the center of Exeter,... More

What can I say. We moved here because of Phillips Exeter and it didn't disappoint. The school is like a college and really makes the town of Exeter what it is. Many of the resources of the school are available to the community like lectures, music and plays. I wish my daughter could've gone for eight years instead of just... More

Our daughter attended for 4 years and her focus, sociability, leadership and personality improved exponentially....graduated 2015...on to a great university. Tough, but an experience to be obtained if at all possible...scholarships available. We got involved... joined the parents leadership committee.

Lucky is the kid who gets to attend Exeter! With over 400 courses, 100+ clubs, well maintained facilities and caring faculty, students who love to learn and be challenged get an education more valuable than any top college. Tuition is the lowest of any prep school because the alumni/ae give back so much money as a token of their appreciation.

After visiting Exeter, I can say that it has very impressive facilities that enable its students to do nearly anything, whether that be using the well-stocked observatory, about-to-be-renovated fitness facilities and theater, or any of the state of the art classrooms (which still have the acclaimed Harkness tables). At Exeter, there is an environment that creates the perfect atmosphere for... More

My husband's family is from New Hampshire but our 11 year old boy has grown up in South Carolina. Our son liked a film he saw about a New England school so we decided to visit this iconic campus. We had a wonderful tour with a friendly student and accommodating admissions staff. It was actually incredibly HOT that day and... More
