I grew up swimming in the Bellamy River. I remember when it had a sandy beach, diving boards, and a club house. Now it is a Disc Golf Course. Revisited the park recently when I was in town, and took a stroll in the woods....More

Nice spot on the river. The walking paths need work. Not good for seniors because of the routs in the paths. I spent my time looking down so I would not fall.

Walked this trail in June. Mo wildlife seen. Heard a few birds but must be te wrogtimeof year to see much. The trail is fairly flat but narrow and spent most of our time concentrating of the tree roots which cover the trail. Poison ivy...More

Please keep dogs on lease, it is a wildlife sanctuary after all. The walk will take you along the banks of the Bellamy River, through a forested area and through many different wildlife habitats. Enjoy but please if you carry in,carry out

The Cove trail is a great hike for any level of hiker. No hills totally flat....a few wet areas,to be expected...lots of photo ops...watch for ticks,bring bug spray. Some trail areas have high grass and weeds. I tried to find the Clement's point trail but...More

I have been here on my own. Learned a lot more with a state employee from the Parks & Recreation Department. Very informative and the weather cooperated.
