This is a place to visit if you are both local and from out of town. The climbing wall is a serious challenge and very rewarding as well as a great workout. There is no other climbing wall in the USA that comes close in comparison.

Very friendly staff! The indoor climbing walls have a wide range of skills to try for, including some that are nigh impossible. The floor mats are very thick and soft, and the indoor walls are only about 20 ft high. The outdoor climbing wall is apparently one of the tallest in the world, and I only made it 3/4 of... More

We bring our kids here every time we're in Reno. They love it. The day pass is $12 and $5 for shoe rentals. Student discount is $12 with shoes which is a steal. There are many different rocks to climb and also a kids rock wall room which is great for the little ones. We took them yesterday and there's... More

We adore this place! There is a small room that can be closed off, just for kids. The walls are fun and easy for learning. We can wrangle the mayhem and close the door so we don't disrupt other climbers! The bouldering options are great--plenty in each level to keep us busy. There is a slackline and gym rings. We've... Our family loves BaseCamp; and also, the Whitney Hotel! The climbing gym is fun and a good value for the pass, but the best part are the climbing walls outside of the building that ascend high over the "Reno Arch" a good 15 stories. Our daughter has been climbing there since the age of 9 and loves it!

It was actually my 13 year old nephew who did the climbing. The price is reasonable, the place is a little scimpy on decor. The staff was friendly and informative. Safety gear was provided. The inside is for practice and plenty of styles based on experience. After confortable with the process, we went outside to scale the side of the... More

I visited here on a Sunday while in town for business. The facility is well kept with quite a few climbing options both indoor and outdoor. With only having climbed several times in my life, I was unsure of the difficulty of climbing to the top of the outdoor wall. I was assured that it was definitely possible even for... More

My son loves this venue. We live in Reno and he bought a membership and goes at least 2 times a week.

This place has climbing for all levels. It even has an outside wall that is super cool. The staff had a teaching spirit unlike some walls I have been to. Can't wait to return someday...

This was a very fun event in downtown Reno. Staff was friendly and very helpful. There was climbing courses for every experience level, beginner, intermediate, and advanced. There are even different courses for kids and adults. If you're feeling extremely adventurous for an additional fee you can scale the side of the building.
