My SO took me here as a birthday surprise. The place is cute although the road leading out to it could use some definite repair. They mixed up our appointment so we had to do the massages first, which was fine. The massage therapists were very good, although I did have problems the next morning with some horrible muscle pains... More

The employees were wonderful and accommodating. The two place bathtubs were a little small for two people especially if you are a large person. With the amount of heat produced from the soak one could alternate time in the tub which worked well for us. We were in the Orange Room, and our bath was enhanced by lavender essence. Unfortunately,... More

A couple of my teammates and I had the pleasure of spending the morning at Steamboat Hot Springs here in Reno. The location was absolutely beautiful and the vibrant colors of the building uplifted the experience so much more. The staff was incredibly welcoming and left us all with an unforgettable soak and massage experience. I strongly suggest making time... More

I'm a VERY busy person and rarely take time to myself to relax, and when I do I have a difficult time shutting my mind off. I've been here twice now and each time have left relaxed and refreshed. Every time I leave I also get the BEST night's sleep, which doesn't happen often. I definitely recommend this place! It's... More

Steamboat has recently become one of my favorite places in Reno! The staff is very welcoming and always willing to accommodate. It is a unique healing center and offers something for everyone. Personally, I enjoy the 60 minute soaks in one of the stained glass rooms -- the water is absolutely amazing especially (you can even add essential oils and... More

I used a Groupon and was supposed to get a soak and a microabraison facial. The machine was not working so all I got was a regular facial and I paid the same price. Really disappointing.

15 minutes south of Reno, not all that easily found without a GPS as the signs are right at the place. It claims Mark Twian as an early visitor. Looks adobe from the outside and 1970's public baths on the inside. Pleasant staff, pretty expensive but good massage. They offer private mineral water baths. Bring your significant other and make... We went for a couples mineral bath. Had a Groupon coupon , so the cost was $24 instead of $45. The one hour soak was worth the cost. The main complaint we had was the terrible road leading to the building. It was full of potholes and cracked up. Was one of the worst roads that I have ever had... More

Thank you for your feedback and we are glad to hear that you enjoyed your private mineral bath. The road to the north is a real challenge for Steamboat as we cannot figure out who is actually responsible for its maintenance. We do inform our guests to turn in on Rhodes Road when they are coming to steamboat, this is... More

I liked the old school feel of this place, having been to several "fancy" 5 star spas over the past year. It's a mellow, clean facility with a genuine kind staff. My initial contact, John, who got me set up was really great.
