A great spot to see some rare rescued animals. The staff is very friendly and the location is beautiful. Get there when it opens to avoid the heat and see the animals when they are the most active.

This place is located outside of Reno. We enjoyed our visit here at this Wildlife Sanctuary. Saw some Tortoises, Cheetahs and Bears. Also a good range of native trees and vegetation.

It was interesting to see all of the different animals here - they had a couple of new tiger cubs that were just settling in. Also saw bears, mountain lions, cheetahs, wolves, a couple kinds of foxes, and lots of birds, among others. Many of...More

The picnic area does have some shade. Definitely bring a hat and some water. I believe there was air in the main building. The entire property is solar operated.

Hi, Unfortunately Public Transportation does not come this far. Probably Uber may be your best bet. We have heard it is less expensive than a taxi....
