Depending on the function this is a good place.

Depends on the function. Plenty of parking but they over charge you to park there. It's a convention center, altho it looks like it's not finished, local hate the outside of it.

We went to the gem faire.we actually walked from the Reno Strip. It was very hot and sunny out. We walked past the University of Nevada's agriculture campus and took the local bus back. The center is very large and airy .Despite the heat outside ,the place was cool.

It was good to see and hear our new president talk. Half the country loves him and half doesn't. The news media didn't give him a break but the voters did. I know 2.9 million more voted for the other person. But I think people are tired of the same old crap and wanted a change. We will see. The... More

This last year attended several concerts,Was impressed how easy is was to get in and out of the place. Security staff were great along with the Reno Police dept who really have there act together, with crowd control.

My wife, son and I went to the car auction here during Hot August Nights. So many cars to choose from and the auction was interesting, we had never been to a live car auction before.

Easy to get to, parking was fairly easy and the facility was large enough to handle over 1000 basketball teams

Convention center was large enough to accommodate huge tournament and appreciated the seating at each court (not always available at venues). The bathrooms were amazingly clean the entire day! Kudos to the service staff...for a predominantly female event, to have the bathrooms maintained the way there were was a real treat. Food was less than desirable. The first day the... More
