If you are visiting Reno and you would like to see more than just casinos, take a walk along the Truckee River. My favorite seasons are Spring and Fall and I guarantee you won't regret taking time out to enjoy the view!

This area is beautiful with some really cute little coffee and candy shops! We walked a few miles and the views of the house and nature in the area was worth the walk

A wonderful walk. Who knew there was a raging river right through Reno..maybe there so all the gambling losers can throw themselves in...no plaques to commemorate that.

We walked the river in April, not the best season evidently, as there were no vendors set up, and only one lonely musician. The river was quite high and dramatic as snow melt was driving the water. But there are many pleasant places to stop...More

Reno improved its river walk with a new bridge and lookout points. The entire area seems more interesting and pleasurable to walk along.

This area was very nice to visit yesterday on a clear, crisp morning. Lots of people walking dogs and drinking coffee. I hope the city fathers can keep the homeless from destroying this asset to the community.

We went in March, the water was really flowing. Luckily it was sunny, so it was s beautiful sight!! I would recommend parking at the Bicentennial Sculpture Park & walk up & down the river from there.

I love how they are cleaning up the park and adding art and sculptures in it. The river is always a great place to be. Although the homeless deserve to be there as well, I do wish they would keep to themselves. I love the...More
