Interesting history

Take the $10 river tour in Laughlin. It will take you up to the base of the dam, and you get a good view, and also learn the history of the dam - very interesting.

Very short drive for a change of scenery. The desert flowers were in bloom which made it pretty. Bright blue water and bring blue sky. It appeared fishing would be allowed from shore but not the dam.

We took a river cruise from our hotel. It was a wonderful way to get out in the fresh air and enjoy the Colorado River.

WE have been coming to the river for over 40 years. We finally took the tour of the dam itself. So cool. Very interesting how the plant operates. The turbines are huge and the whole process is awesome.

Just a few mile drive from Laughlin and worth a visit. Very interesting and lots of fresh air for you after the casinos.
