Rock of Ages, the "insanely fun" (Time Out New York) worldwide...

Rock of Ages, the "insanely fun" (Time Out New York) worldwide smash hit musical featuring a raucous mix of 28 eyebrow-scorching tunes, is now rocking nightly at The Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. Set in L.A.'s infamous Sunset Strip in 1987, Rock of Ages tells the story of Drew, a boy from South Detroit and Sherrie, a small-town girl, both in L.A. to chase their dreams of making it big and falling in love. Rock of Ages takes you back to the times of big bands with big egos playing big guitar solos and sporting even bigger hair! This hilarious, feel-good love story celebrates the great rock songs of the '80s including such sing-out-loud songs as "Every Rose Has Its Thorn," "I Wanna Know What Love Is", "Here I Go Again", "Don't Stop Believin'", and more. Parental Advisory Rock of Ages is all about having a good time but you should be aware that some of the costumes, dancing and language might not be appropriate for kids under the age of 14 (kids under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult). Remember, if you do bring them, they'll get to see you rockin' like you did back in the day! AGE LIMIT Under 14 Must Be Accompanied By An Adult Under 5 Will Not Be Admitted Into The Theatre

Whether you're from the 1980's or raised your kids right, and they love the 80's music, this is a must see. It's funny, and the music is great. You will be singing along the entire time. At the end when I looked around, people were standing and cheering. My daughter (who was born in 1988) did not stop smiling the... More

Comfortable seats!!!!! unlike "absinthe" which we also seen- see other reviews. Keep in mind there was some politically incorrect themes and subject matter- however I think it was tastefully used during the overall plot of the show. It added to the storyline it didn't take away from it.

I'm sad to hear the show has now closed, but it was so much fun! I am hopeful it will return at another venue soon. I would see it every time I came to Vegas, if possible.

The drink service in the theatre was great. But the show was very odd. Very politically incorrect and a lot of very crude jokes and bad acting. This was so bizarre it was compelling! We really couldn't believe what we were hearing but were strangely fixated by how terrible it was!

This show was great and was packed with wonderful musicians! I was so glad I caught this show before it closes next week! We didn't have the greatest seats, but could still see just fine. There is some sexual and crude humor, so I wouldn't recommend bringing children under around 13 or older. However, it was a wonderful show! I... More

Great music and singing. Not for young children as there are several crude sexual jokes and gestures, with some cursing. The story line could have been stronger but it was enjoyable.

Catch this show before it ends next week. Lots of fun and even my husband enjoyed it. The music was great! There isn't really a bad seat in the theater

We were expecting a concert but instead it was a musical presentation. It is a comical presentation of trying to make it in rock and what musicians go through. Seats were great and very happy to see it. Show is ending soon.

I was looking for something to do on my last night in Vegas, so I decided on Rock of Ages. Although I thought I was going to a concert, the show is actually a play. That said, it was pretty funny and I loved the music. The only downside to this show was buying the tickets through Tix4Tonight. The staff... More
