The Mob Museum provides a world-class, interactive journey through true...

The Mob Museum provides a world-class, interactive journey through true stories. From the birth of the Mob, to today's headlines. Shadows and whispers. G-Men and Made Men. Whether you like it or not, this is American history. The Mob Museum is a three-story experience, with guests beginning on the third floor of the Museum. The third floor covers immigration of various cultures into the United States in the late 1800s, the rise of organized crime during Prohibition, and how organized crime spread across the country. Guests then work their way down to the second floor, where they learn about the Mob in Las Vegas and begin to see the efforts law enforcement took in the mid-1900s to bring down organized crime. To complete the visit, guests end on the first floor, where they begin to see modern examples of organized crime and the technological advancements law enforcement made in order to capture evasive mobsters. The Museum's collection includes over 1,000 artifacts, and real stories are brought to life with engaging, multi-sensory exhibits and unparalleled insights from those on the front lines of both sides of the battle. The Mob Museum offers a provocative, contemporary look at this fascinating topic through hundreds of artifacts and immersive storylines. We bring Mob stories to life so completely, you'll feel like you're part of them. But hey-you didn't hear it from us.

Went to the mob museum while in Vegas, I thought it was primarily about the mob in Vegas, but Its about the mob in general, and most of the stories came from Chicago. They have a piece of the original St Valentines Day Massacre wall, they have currently have one of Al Capone's guns on loan from the IRS (There... More

Be prepared to spend 3 hours on the 3 floors of this fascinating museum. Very well organized education beginning with the early mobsters, the growth of crime, incorporated and the birth and growth of Vegas.

An excellent exhibit, recommended for adults. (Some exhibits would not be suitable for young children.) It features the courtroom used by Senator Estes Kefauver for hearings on organized crime. There is discussion of historic figures related to the JFK Assassination. Tourist cameras are allowed. I recommend parking at nearby facilities where free parking is available for restaurant customers.

Spent several hours here, could have spent several more. It's a rather dark time period of our country and it's interesting to see how various issues linked, ie: prohibition, politics, immigration, etc.

While I am not a huge museum fan, this museum was very interesting and held my interest. It has a nice mix of audio and exhibits to read.

We visited the Mob Museum for the first time in October. What an awesome experience! The displays are well put together, informative & riveting. A lot of the displays are interactive & it is easy to spend a lot of time learning about the seedy history of organized crime. This is a must see!

Cool museum to spend an afternoon in. You have the opportunity to take your own mug shot. Comfy shoes a must as you will spend at least 3 hours in here! Don't forget the gift store for those unique gifts or that autographed book you always wanted.
