The Mob Museum provides a world-class, interactive journey through true stories. From the birth of the Mob, to today's headlines. Shadows and whispers. G-Men and Made Men. Whether you like it or not, this is American history. The Mob Museum is a three-story experience, with guests beginning on the third floor of the Museum. The third floor covers immigration of various cultures into the United States in the late 1800s, the rise of organized crime during Prohibition, and how organized crime spread across the country. Guests then work their way down to the second floor, where they learn about the Mob in Las Vegas and begin to see the efforts law enforcement took in the mid-1900s to bring down organized crime. To complete the visit, guests end on the first floor, where they begin to see modern examples of organized crime and the technological advancements law enforcement made in order to capture evasive mobsters. The Museum's collection includes over 1,000 artifacts, and real stories are brought to life with engaging, multi-sensory exhibits and unparalleled insights from those on the front lines of both sides of the battle. The Mob Museum offers a provocative, contemporary look at this fascinating topic through hundreds of artifacts and immersive storylines. We bring Mob stories to life so completely, you'll feel like you're part of them. But hey-you didn't hear it from us.

Lots of rich history here! Much to see. Lots of interactive pieces of history. This place is a must see if you are to visit the downtown area. If you visit every single exhibit in here the self guided tour can last for easily 4 hours. It says suitable for kids however I have to disagree because there are a... More

It was so much better than I expected! Well worth a visit. Any history buff will love it. You can spend at least 3 hours without even realizing you have been there that long.

This was a very interesting place. It spans decades mob activity from early 1900's through 1990's.... It is amazing how much power these people had. If you like history especially this type it is worth a visit.. I love mob history so a lot of this I have read about seen pictures etc... but seeing the hardware (i.e. weapons..) was... More

This building is walking distance from my hotel at Main Street Station. I thought it would take me an hour to look at all three floors. Four hours later; I STILL haven't seen every display. The only reason I stopped at four is that I was getting hungry. I love history, especially learning how organizations were born. This actually covers... More

We went here for something different to do, it was fun because we are old enough to enjoy it. I do not think this is an attraction for kids. It's too much reading. There are plaques on the walls everywhere that you read. We wouldn't do it again but it was interesting to do it once. They did have voice... More

Three floors of mob history and law enforcement attempts to derail it. There IS a lot more to Las Vegas than gambling, drinking and carousing. This museum is a lot to take in in a single visit with all of the videos, photographs, clippings.... We were there almost three hours and just couldn't take any more in our tiny brains.

Good place to kill an hour looking at some unique things from the mob past in Las Vegas. They have some good video's, and other things to look at.

Great little museum chronicling the history of Vegas & 'the mobs' influence in its evolution. Plan to leave yourself a good 3-4 hours to explore all the exhibits & information in this tour. $23 per person well worth spending
